AGRIWEAVE prepares to launch its first pilot projects for seed-mat technology in the Kingdom

AGRIWEAVE is preparing to roll out its first pilot projects for biodegradable seed-mat technology across selected sites in the Kingdom. The trials are designed to validate germination performance, water savings and long-term landscape resilience under real Gulf conditions.
Each pilot pairs AGRIWEAVE's agronomy team with local project partners to measure establishment rates against traditional methods. Early-stage sites focus on slope stabilisation, roadside greening and municipal parks — applications where uniform, fast-growing cover delivers the greatest impact.
Findings from the pilots will guide the wider deployment of seed-mat systems across infrastructure and commercial developments throughout the region.
